Public Safety Sergeant

The mission of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Police Department is to protect life and property, maintain order, investigate crimes, enforce all applicable laws and ordinances, protect natural resources, enforce Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Fishing, Hunting and Forest Codes, investigate violations, arrest and issue citations on violators within the boundaries of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Reservation and within the boundaries of the Point No Point Treaty Area. The Sergeant protects life and property, maintains peace and order, enforces all applicable tribal laws and ordinances, and protects fishing, game and forest tribal rights. Arrests and issues citations to violators, conducts applicable investigations, and provides testimony in court. Provides supervision and direction to subordinates and performs other supervisory duties as designated.
